My brother Fred and I went to a football match yesterday.
昨天我和我兄弟弗瑞德去看足球比赛。

Our school team was playing against the Star High School team. 我们的校队和明星高中队进行比赛。

Our team wore red and white shirts, white shorts and red stockings. 我们队身穿红白上衣，白色短裤和红色长袜。

The other team wore orange and black shirts, black shorts and orange stockings. 另外一队身穿橙黑上衣，黑色短裤和橙色长袜。

They played like bees. They ran very fast, attacked very hard and passed the
ball very fast. So they scored their first goal.明星队的队员们像蜜蜂一样。他们跑得很快，攻势凌厉，传球迅速。所以他们踢进了第一个球。

Fred and I shouted and shouted, "Come on, Valley School! Come on, the Valleys!"我和弗瑞德一直喊着：“山谷队，加油！山谷队，加油！”

Our headmaster was near us and he was shouting too. But the Star High School scored another goal. We were very sad. 我们校长就在我们旁边，他也在喊叫。但明星高中又进了一个球。我们很伤心。

After a while our team began to play better and the bees were getting tired. 过了一会儿，我们队开始踢得越来越好了，而那些“蜜蜂”们也累了。

Our team scored two goals before halftime. 在半场结束前，我们队进了两个球。

In the second half of the match, both teams tried very hard, but neither scored, so at the end of the match was a tie. 在下半场比赛中，两队都踢得很努力，但是都没有得分，最后比赛成了平局。
