As the old saying goes, beauty is only skin-deep. And modern-day cosmetics industry watchers tend to agree. Skin care is the most rapidly growing segment of the cosmetics business. And despite sullen global economy, those seeking eternal youth are giving the luxury skin care market a new lease on life. And high-end cosmetics account for about 5% of sales. It's attracted consumers in seven countries, and its top-selling nighttime nourishing oil sells for 125 dollars.
