| I have lived at twenty-four university street for twenty years. Great changes have taken place in the neighborhood for the past decade. There used to be a mom- and-pop store on the corner, now it is replaced by a supermarket. There are clinics, schools and other services in this community. Mr. White is my neighbor, we live on the same street. The apartment next door has been vacant for long time. My neighbors drop in on me from time to time. Kavin has a green thumb, his garden is a sea of flower. Mrs. Cooper is very hospitable, and always keep her house open. My neighbor will take care of our house if we take a vacation out. The kids in the neighborhood always jump across the fence into his garden. Jacky is a Hi-Fi junkie, and always keep his stereo on as loud as possible. Lots of ever green trees have been planted along the roads. They are setting up a 20-story tower building of the street. |
