Yu-ling: A female ghost haunts the dorm of my old school in Taiwan. It is said that she's the ghost of a student that studied too hard. 我台湾的母校有一个女鬼。传说她是一位太用功念书的学生而变的。

Tanner: That sounds like everybody I know. 听起来像是我认识的每一个人。

Yu-ling: After memorizing English words for five days straight with no rest, she jumped out of her dorm window and killed herself. 在连续五天不眠不休地背诵英文单字之后，她从宿舍窗口跳楼自杀了。

Tanner: So her ghost came back to haunt the dorms? 所以她的鬼魂就回来闹宿舍？

Yu-ling: That's right. They had to board up her room because whenever anyone slept in it, they'd hear her ghost whispering English words. 没错。他们得将她的房间封起来，因为每当有人在里面睡觉，他们都会听见她的鬼魂在低吟英文单字。

Vlad: I've got one, too. In my hometown, there's the ghost of a man who committed suicide. 我也有个故事。在我的家乡，有个自杀男人变成的鬼魂。

Yu-ling: Was he a Christian? I heard Christians don't go to heaven if they commit suicide. 他是个基督徒吗？我听说基督徒如果自杀就不能上天堂了。

Vlad: That's right. The ghost of this man kept showing up to apologize to his wife. 没错。这个男人的鬼魂一直出现，跟他的太太道歉。

Yu-ling: He must have felt bad because he wouldn't see her in heaven. 他一定因为无法和她在天堂相见而感到愧疚。

Vlad: Could be. For years, he would come to her house every night, saying he was sorry. 也许。持续多年，他每晚都会到她家道歉。

Yu-ling: He must have really felt guilty. She must have forgiven him? 他一定真的很有罪恶感。她一定原谅他了吧？

Vlad: Yeah, but he kept coming. His wife moved to a new town, but the ghost even followed her there. 原谅了，但他还是一直来。他的太太搬到一个新城填，但鬼魂甚至还跟她到那里去。

Yu-ling: Some people don't know when to quit. 有些人就是不知道适可而止。

Vlad: Eventually, she found a priest who put holy water on the man's body. 最后，她找了一位神父洒圣水在那男人的尸体上。

Yu-ling: After that, the wife was OK, right? 后来那个太太就没事了，对吧？

Vlad: No, she went crazy. In the end, she killed herself. 不，她发疯了。最后，她自杀了。

Yu-ling: Oh my gosh. What a shame. 天啊。真是太令人感到遗憾了。

Vlad: Yeah. [to Tanner] So, Tanner. Do you have any stories to tell? 嗯（对着坦纳）。那么，坦纳。你有没有什么可以讲的故事啊？
