加路连英语口语第 58 课: I'm going for a drink. 我要去喝杯饮料

Candy: After these ten rewrites, we should be ready to go, right? 经过十次的重写，我们应该已经准备齐全了，对吧？

Ian: Yeah, the essays look good, letters look reasonable, and what's this? You want to send bags of coffee, too? 对，文章看起来颇赞，推荐信看起来也合情合理，还有这个是什么？你想把这几袋咖啡也寄过去吗？

Candy: Yeah. This is my own special blend! So I can just drop this all in the mail now? When will I hear back anyway? 是啊，这是我自己特调的咖啡！我现在可以把这些都拿去寄了吗？我到底何时才能 得到回音？

Ian: In a few months.... So, we have plenty of time between now and then to, umm...keep getting to...know each other. 几过月之后……。所以到那之前我们有很多时间，嗯……去认识彼此。

Candy: Well, I think I owe you a dinner at least. Let's go! 呃，我想我至少欠你一顿晚餐。我们走吧！

Gary: We've been here for two hours, and we haven't finished a thing yet. 我们已经在这儿待两小时了，而什么事都 还没完成。

Mike: Look, I wrote the story, so I know what to do. 听好，故事是我写的，所以我知道怎么做。

Gary: But you're not telling people their roles. 可是你没跟我们说大家的角色。

Mike: I'm resting now. I'll direct everybody in a minute. 我现在在休息。我等会儿就会指导大家。

Gary: We have to practice or else we won't win like the last three years in a row. 我们必须要排练，不然就无法像前三年一样三连胜了。

Mike: Whatever. I'm going for a drink. [Mike leaves] 随便啦。我要去喝杯饮料。（麦克离开）

Gary: Darn it, Mike, we have to get this done! We don't have much time left. 该死，麦克，我们得把这完成啊！我们时间不多了
