Gary: So have you heard anything about Mike's play? 你有听到麦克话剧的消息吗？ Paula: I heard everybody else quits. 我听说其它人都退出了。 Gary: That's what I told him would happen. Now what's he going to do? 那正是我跟他说的结果。他现在怎么办？ Paula: I don't know. [phone rings] Hello? Hi Mike. You want to talk to Gary? OK. [hangs up] 你想怎样，麦克？（听电话）好。我一小时后在那跟你碰面。（挂断） Paula: What did he want? 他要干嘛？ Gary: He wants to meet at a coffee shop and talk about the play. 他想要在咖啡店见面谈话剧的事。
Gary: So I hear all your actors quit. 我听说你的演员都走了。 Mike: Yeah. And the reporter of the town paper is going to say I screwed it up. 没错。镇上报纸的记者会说是我搞砸的。 Gary: So what are you going to do? 所以你打算怎么办？ Mike: Can I give the play to you? 我可以把话剧交给你吗？ Gary: Sorry, man. I'm busy. 对不起，老兄。我很忙。 Mike: Gary, I know this is my fault. I apologize. 盖瑞，我知道是我的错。我道歉。 Gary: You shouldn't apologize to me.
