On the western side of Britain lies one of the most beautiful parts of the British Isles: the Principality of Wales. 在 英 国 西 部 有 一 个 不 列 颠 诸 岛 中 最 美 丽 的 地 方 -- 威 尔 士， 威 尔 士 山 有 一 个 妙 处，

The Welsh mountains have a beauty which is rugged and forbidding, but the slopes are as green and fertile as the valleys and provide rich pasture for sheep and cows. 就 是 崎 岖 难 攀, 但 山 坡 也 象 山 谷 一 样 青 草 凄 凄 土 地 肥 沃， 是 牛 羊 们 的 天 然 牧 场。
