In many pubs there is also a restaurant, and the food here is usually plain but of good quality; in fact, to taste good, traditional English food you would do well to visit a reputable pub. 许 多 酒 吧 还 设 有 餐 厅， 吃 的 东 西 一 般 很 简 单 但 质 量 上 乘； 事 实 上， 要 想 品 尝 美 味 的 传 统 英 国 食 品， 最 好 还 是 去 一 家 享 有 盛 名 的 酒 馆。

Many business men habitually have lunch in a pub near their office. 许 多 商 人 习 惯 在 办 公 室 附 近 的 酒 馆 用 午 餐。

In the country, the pub is often part of an inn where you can put up for the night. 在 乡 村， 酒 馆 常 常 是 旅 馆 的 一 部 分， 客 人 可 在 此 住 宿。

If you're leaving, the friendly thing to do is to take you glasses back to the bar, thank the person who's been serving you, and say 'Goodbye' or 'Goodnight'. 离 开 酒 馆 时， 应 把 酒 杯 送 回 柜 台， 向 为 你 服 务 的 营 业 员 表 示 谢 意 并 道 声 “再 会”或“晚 安”。
