The word "okay" is known and used by millions of people all over the world. Still, language experts do not agree on where it came from. okay （“对”， “好”） 这 个 词， 全 世 界 成 亿 的 人 都 懂 得 并 使 用。 可 是 关 于 它 的 来 源， 语 言 专 家 们 却 莫 衷 一 是。
　　
Some say it came from the Indian peoples. When Europeans first came to the Americas they heard hundreds of different Indian languages. Many were well developed. 有 人 说 这 个 词 来 自 印 第 安 人 的 语 言。 欧 洲 人 刚 到 美 洲 时， 他 们 听 到 了 成 百 种 各 不 相 同 的 印 第 安 语， 其 中 许 多 已 经 相 当 成 熟。

The Indian languages have given many words to English. Some say that President Andrew Jackson first used the word "okay."
